Strong sense of identity.

A child's sense of identity and belonging is ignited when their thoughts and opinions matter and shared within the class.

Strong Sense of Wellbeing: Children's resilience helps them to regulate and balance their emotions to cope with day to day stresses & challenges. Discuss emotions along with the song

Connection to emotions and feeelings: this lesson will provoke emotions children will learn to identify emotions through music & song 

Involved and confident learners: children learn how to learn and they develop dispostions for learning and a sense of agency 

Children will learn the element - 

Timbre with a very familiar song. Clapping their hands and using their voices 

Language and Literacy development through reading books about feelings 

Stimulate children's creative awareness through books

Connects to otther parts of the curriculum such as reading and early writing skills

Based on the Orff method
